Pricing and Availability Yamaha is yet to reveal pricing details and delivery timelines for these new models. However, speculation hints at deliveries kicking off from January 2024, with an estimated base model price of around Rs 3.50 lakh ex-showroom. The MT-03 is set to flaunt 17-inch tires, adding to its overall aesthetics, and will offer a split-seat layout designed for comfortable rides, with a rider-friendly seat height of 780 mm catering to varying rider heights.
Competition and Features In a competitive market, the Yamaha MT-03 will go head-to-head with other high-powered and stylish motorcycles such as the QJ Motor SRK 400 and KTM 390 Duke. Embracing all-LED lights, the bike features a fully digital instrument cluster and a dual-channel anti-lock braking system. Its design incorporates a sleek handlebar housing speedometer, odometer, and tripmeter functionalities.
R3’s Revival The return of the Yamaha YZF-R3, previously discontinued due to new engine regulations, brings back its powerful 321 cc engine. The upcoming version is expected to maintain the same powertrain, offering a maximum mileage of 25 kmpl on roads. While retaining its 6-speed manual transmission, the bike’s front aesthetics are set for modifications, showcasing a bold and muscular appearance to entice bike enthusiasts seeking a powerful and thrilling ride.
