Competing Directly with Ola Electric Scooter Aiming for a 2024 release in India, the Activa Electric ventures into direct competition with Ola’s prominent electric scooter, currently dominating the domestic market. With a touted range of 280 kilometers, the Activa Electric aims to compete as India’s top-selling scooter in the electric vehicle segment.
Sneak Peek from Japan Mobility Show Honda previously offered a glimpse of the Activa electric scooter at the Japan Mobility Show. However, specifics regarding the design, whether it mirrors the domestic Activa or undergoes modifications, remain undisclosed.
Anticipated Advanced Features While details on the Activa Electric’s specifics are pending, industry speculations suggest it might integrate design elements from its Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) counterpart. Expectations include a digital touchscreen infotainment system, mobile connectivity features, and potential additions like telescope suspension.
Addressing Battery Concerns Aiming to alleviate concerns for residents in multi-storey buildings with fixed battery setups, Honda plans to introduce an electric scooter after the Activa Electric’s launch, equipped with a swappable battery pack.
